Report: The Dallas Mavericks Have Announced That Their Entire Roster Except for Luka Doncic And Kristaps Porzingis Are Available For Trade. What Is Mark Cuban Planning?

The Dallas Mavericks have recently announced that the entire roster is open for trade in hopes of potentially claiming a third star via trade or in the following off-season. After an incredible MVP calibre season from Luka Doncic, Mark Cuban is pressured to make significant progress to propel his organization to championship contention status. With Luka and Kristaps Porzingis being untouchable, the Dallas Mavericks are on the path to greatness, considering that they already have two All-Star calibre players. However, with the superteam era promptly returning, the Mavericks need to make some significant decisions to contend in a tight Western Conference. For years the West has been the dominant conference in the NBA as most teams have a valid case in making the playoffs every year. Although next season is unique as every Western Conference team has an opportunity to make the playoffs making this even more challenging for the Dallas Mavericks to present a fair enough case in competing for a championship. Even though the Mavericks have one of the youngest duos in the NBA, what is Mark Cuban planning to do to complete their future dynasty? 

Unlike other organizations, the Dallas Mavericks possess arguably the best young player in the NBA. With Luka only being a sophomore player this season, he averaged 28.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 8.8 rebounds while being an All-Star starter in the Western Conference. His production shocked the NBA as he led the Mavericks to the playoffs while almost defeating the Los Angeles Clippers, who were projected to make the Western Conference finals. Luka Doncic is an exciting superstar that could become the best player in the NBA one day. However, suppose the Mavericks want a viable chance of making the Finals in the future. In that case, Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic are not enough, especially when factoring in how talented the NBA is. With Mark Cuban being interested in trading every player on the roster except Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, what player should the Dallas Mavericks look to pursue or trade for? 

Throughout this season, Bradley Beal has been a rumoured player that organizations have been interested in trading for. Whether it’s the Brooklyn Nets or the Golden State Warriors, no organization has been successful in persuading the Washington Wizards away from their star player. With the Dallas Mavericks announcing that their entire roster is available for trade, this could be another example of how great Mark Cuban is at negotiating with other organizations. The way he persuaded the New York Knicks in attaining Kristaps Porzingis was one of the biggest robberies in recent history. The Washington Wizards will be tougher to convince. However, if Mark Cuban can provide a package consisting of expiring contracts, young players such as Jalen Brunson, and an abundance of future draft picks, Bradley Beal to the Dallas Mavericks could become a reality. According to Bleacher Report, the Dallas Mavericks is the best landing spot for Bradley Beal next season. A trio of Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal would be unstoppable as organizations would tremble before even entering the American Airlines Center! Furthermore, the Mavericks would become a super team and a contender in the Western Conference. If Luka Doncic managed to average almost a 30 point triple-double in his sophomore season, imagine what he could average with Bradley Beal on the roster! 

While this is a suggested trade by Bleacher Report, Mark Cuban is one of the few general managers who could make this happen. Since he became a general manager, Cuban has accomplished historical trades, including trading for future Hall of Famer and champion Dirk Nowitzki. Cuban also almost managed to successfully trade for Kobe Bryant, which would have been legendary while also being incredibly dangerous. If he could almost trade for Kobe Bryant, then trading for Bradley Beal should be a walk in the park for Mark Cuban. Even though the Wizards have suspended the notion of Bradley Beal being available for trade, many organizations are willing to sacrifice many assets to attain the future star.
